Tooth system from Yarwoods
Yarwoods have recently introduced the Esco SV2 mining tooth system, with safer installation and removal being a major consideration in its design. The hammerless lock holding the tooth is said to be quick and easy to change and improves safety as the danger of flying chipped metal, which is a risk when hammering pins, has been removed.
The tooth system has been developed over the past five years by a dedicated engineering team and has successfully completed laboratory tests and a number of field tests around the world. The system is available with a full range of adapters and point shapes to suit hydraulic faceshovels and excavators, wheel loaders and electric cable shovels.
