Three new Cats for Cumbrian plant hirer

Stevens Equipment Rental expand their fleet with a trio of K-series Cat wheel loaders from Finning

CUMBRIA-based Stevens Equipment Rental have expanded their mobile plant fleet with the acquisition of three Cat K-Series wheel loaders from Finning. The new machines will help meet the demanding requirements of the short- and long-term plant hire market.

The company, previously known as Peter Stevens Dumptruck Hire Ltd, usually operates machines aged three years (10,000h) or less and has expertise in supplying equipment that offers high levels of productivity in any application.

 

The new machines, a Cat 966K, Cat 972K and Cat 980K, will offer Stevens Equipment Rental’s customers equipment that is optimized for maximum fuel efficiency, uptime and increased power density.

Rental manager Russell McLean said: ‘Caterpillar wheel loaders are well respected in all market sectors, and as a national/international rental company, our customers have a package that includes the reliability of the Caterpillar machines. The nationwide support from Finning and our own service team ensures we offer ‘service you can trust’ with or without a long-term commitment and just one number to call.’
