Finning UK & Ireland launch industry-wide competition to find the most heroic Cat equipment
FINNING UK & Ireland have launched #MyCatHero, a competition to find the most heroic Caterpillar equipment and the positive impact it has made on a business or customer.
Sponsored by parts.cat.com/uk – Finning’s eCommerce site for genuine Cat parts – the competition is open to all Finning customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and will be judged by UK explorer and Cat equipment ambassador Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
There are four prizes available: two winners’ prizes of £1,000 for each business to spend on Cat parts in the parts.cat.com/uk store, plus £250 for each entrant to spend on Cat merchandise. Two runners-up will each receive a Cat work pack.
Commenting on the launch of the competition, Rachel See, general manager of multichannel, aftermarket & digital from Finning said: ‘Up and down the country, there are thousands of Cat machines and engines working hard to help improve our customers’ efficiency, productivity and performance.
‘Perhaps there is a machine or engine that has gone the extra mile to make a business the success it is today? Perhaps it has been there from day one, working tirelessly to help improve your profitability? Or maybe it is just like an old friend – a member of the team that a customer simply couldn’t do without.
‘Whatever the reason, we want customers to share their stories with us and help us to find the most heroic Cat equipment that has made their businesses the success it is today.

To enter the competition, customers can visit any of Finning’s social media channels and post the reason why their Cat machine or engine should be considered, starting with the line #MyCatHero is my…. Applicants should also include a photo.
