Terex Finlay make an impact
Following hard on the heels of the launch of the J-1175 tracked jaw crusher at Hillhead 2005, Terex Finlay have bolstered their new crushing range with the addition of the I-1312 mobile impactor.
Due for release this month, the final prototype has been on trials at Quarrystone’s limestone quarry in Golden, Co. Tipperary, where it has achieved outputs of 400 tonnes/h with a 4in setting in the impactor, resulting in large volumes of –40mm, 65mm and +75mm.
Quarrrystone’s managing director, Frank O’Dwyer, described the I-1312 as a ‘hugely impressive’ machine with many user-friendly features. He said: ‘The Cedar Rapids impact chamber has worked extremely well on our material, surpassing anything we have used before and producing large quantities of 804, which is one of our best-selling products. Going forward we anticipate the integration of a new Finlay I-1312 impactor in our operations.’
