Tarmac hire ex-Carillion managing director
Andy Brown, former MD of civil engineering at Carillion, appointed to support Tarmac’s infrastructure offer
TARMAC have strengthened their Contracting senior-management team with the appointment of Andy Brown as director of Tarmac Infrastructure. Formerly UK managing director of civil engineering at Carillion, he will lead the Infrastructure team and its delivery of public sector civil engineering projects.
The appointment follows Tarmac’s recent acquisition of regional civil engineering specialists Griffiths.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Brown (pictured) said: ‘This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong team and build on Tarmac’s existing capabilities to deliver nationally important infrastructure projects. I’m looking forward to working with Tarmac to build on our civil engineering offer for customers.’
