Tarmac celebrate legal excellence award
Company’s legal and compliance team wins top industry accolade at The Lawyer Awards 2019
TARMAC’s legal and compliance team has won the best ‘In-House FTSE Industry and Commerce Team of the Year’ at the prestigious Lawyer Awards 2019 – the largest annual celebration of legal excellence in Europe.
At a glittering ceremony in London, the team of 14 beat strong competition from Severn Trent, Serco Group, Daily Mail, and J Sainsbury.
The accolade was given in recognition of the wide range of work undertaken for Tarmac in 2018, from managing a number of acquisitions and completing hundreds of commercial contracts to implementing GDPR.

This latest award win comes hot on the heels of Tarmac’s recent Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for their health and safety practices.
