Company opens new manufacturing facility in Morris for production of jaw and cone crushers

SUPERIOR Industries Inc., US-based manufacturers and global suppliers of bulk material processing and handling systems, have opened a new crusher manufacturing facility in Morris, Minnesota, home of the company’s headquarters since the business was founded in 1972.

Highlighting Superior’s commitment to growth and innovation in the crushing market, the new facility is dedicated to the production of jaws and cones, and will increase Minnesota’s crusher production capacity by 50%.

The company says the expansion will enhance support for dealers and producers across North America’s quarrying and aggregates industries, delivering greater efficiency and product availability.

Superior’s impact crushers, both vertical- and horizontal-shaft impactors (VSIs and HSIs), will continue to be produced at their other manufacturing facility in Belen, New Mexico.

Additionally, Superior’s global network includes crusher manufacturing sites in South America and Asia, broadening the company’s ability to serve international markets.

‘This new facility means more opportunities for everyone connected to Superior – from our dealers and producers to our team members and local communities,’ said Jason Adams, president of Superior Industries.

‘With more capacity and smoother operations, we’re able to stay true to our purpose of serving others by providing products that help our partners succeed.’

The new Minnesota manufacturing facility features an integrated hydraulics assembly area, an inline test zone, and expanded parts warehousing to support the growing need for reliable, on-demand, critical components.
