Retirement of co-chair Ian Griffiths sees Gary Cooper take over as chairman and owner

BULLDOG Plant & Equipment have announced that Gary Cooper has taken over as chairman and owner of the company following the recent retirement of co-chair Ian Griffiths.

Bulldog were formed in 2021 when R&G Cooper (led by Mr Cooper) joined forces with BES (led by Mr Griffiths) with the two becoming co-chairs and Steve Millburn being appointed as managing director.

‘Bulldog were created from the merger of two successful companies, both with strong reputations in the industry,’ said Mr Millburn. ‘In the past two years we have built a new business with unrivalled expertise and the capability to deliver complete ‘turnkey’ packages from the earliest stages of design and specification through to ongoing maintenance and refurbishment. That has led to further growth and success.

‘Now, with Gary taking over as chairman, we are entering a new era for our business. For example, we’re expanding the production of our own-brand asphalt and concrete plants.

‘We would like to thank Ian Griffiths for his passion and dedication. He has been an invaluable part of our company’s journey and will be missed by colleagues and customers alike. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.’

The Bulldog team will continue to provide a range of industry-leading and bespoke designed turn-key solutions for the concrete, asphalt, and aggregate processing sectors, including new plant, relocating existing plant, spare parts, maintenance and refurbishment.
