Senior management changes at Eaton Corp

Egon Lechner appointed as solutions architect together with new role for Astrid Mozes in management reshuffle

DIVERSIFIED industrial manufacturers Eaton Corporation have announced that Egon Lechner, president – Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the Hydraulics Group, has been promoted to solutions architect for the Hydraulics Group.

In this role, Mr Lechner (pictured) will work closely with Ruppert Russoniello, vice-president – Global Markets, on global segment needs, and with William VanArsdale, president – Hydraulics Group, on business development.

He will continue to be based in Baden-Baden, Germany, and will be responsible for translating the business needs of Eaton’s global market segments into technical requirements, as well as working across the business to identify targeted customer solutions.

Mr Lechner joined Eaton in 2004 from Bosch Rexroth Industrial Hydraulics where he served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in sales, operations and research and development.

His successor as president – Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the Hydraulics Group, is Astrid Mozes, former  senior vice-president and general manager – Power and Motion Control Division.

She will report to Mr VanArsdale and will relocate to Eaton’s EMEA headquarters in Morges, Switzerland, where she will oversee the group’s sales, marketing and operations infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 

Before serving as senior vice-president and general manager – Power and Motion Control Division, Astrid Mozes was vice-president and general manager – Controls Division and manager – Business Development, Hydraulics Group.
