Safety hitch

In light of the increasing number of accidents – including four deaths so far in 2008 – involving semi-automatic quick-hitch devices, and with HSE warning of tougher enforcement action over the incorrect use of quick hitches, EPIC is currently amending its training programmes and assessment checklists to include, where appropriate, the safe operation and use of such devices.
