Rammer prolong hammer life

Infrequent or complete lack of tool-bushing lubrication is a major cause of hydraulic hammer downtime and is thought to be responsible for as much as half of all hydraulic hammer failures.

"To overcome this, Rammer have unveiled the latest development in their Ramlube automatic-lubrication system, which automates this vital lubrication task. The Ramlube II is designed specifically to protect hydraulic hammers from unplanned downtime caused by the tool seizing."

"Unlike the original Ramlube, which was designed for applications where the hammer is permanently matched to the carrier machine, Ramlube II is not mounted on the excavator/ carrier but on the hydraulic hammer itself."

"Drawing its power from the hammer’s hydraulic circuit, the unit utilizes its own internal pump mechanism to deliver a thick and even coating of additive-enriched grease to the tool to protect it from wear and abrasion."
