Powerscreen: Getting Bigger, Getting Better

Powerscreen, oneof the world's leading providers of mobile crushing, screening and washingequipment, will be showcasing the latest in a series of new products at theHillhead Exhibition, on stand L9.  Powerscreen will demonstrate machines in theworking display area as well asshowcase machines on its booth.

Visitors to the working demonstration willsee the powerful new Powerscreen Pegson XA750 jaw crusher feeding the newgiant Powerscreen Pegson 1500 Maxtrak cone crusher. Alongside the crushers inthe working area will be the latest and largest addition to the Warrior screenrange, the impressive Powerscreen Warrior 2400. 

Further new product developments will be ondisplay at the Powerscreen stand including: Powerscreen Pegson XH320 and PowerscreenPegson XH500 impact crushers, Powerscreen Warrior 800screen and Powerscreen Aggwash. Established models including the Powerscreen Pegson XA400S jaw crusher,Powerscreen Pegson 1000 Maxtrak cone crusher and the Powerscreen Chieftain2100X screen will give visitors afantastic overview of the comprehensive Powerscreen product portfolio.

PowerscreenPegson XA750

The Pegson XA750 jaw crusher is one of the mostadvanced and efficient tracked crushing plants on the market for large scaleoperators. The Pegson XA750 is capable of producing high volumes of excellentlyshaped product at up to 750 tph (827 US tph). Key featuresinclude an unrestricted feed opening which maintains high production capacitiesand prevents bridging, a hydraulic closed side setting adjustment system and ahydraulic draw back rod retention system. User benefits include hydraulicallyadjustable product conveyor for ease of transport and low running costsassociated with the direct drive crusher system.

The Pegson 1500 Maxtrak, due to be launched in2011 and previewed at Hillhead, will be one of the largest track mobile conecrushers on the market. Specifically developed for larger end users, the plantcan accept an all-in feed from a primary crusher to produce up to 950 tph (1047US tph) of aggregate. Utilising the Terex Automax cone crusher technology,operators benefit from hydraulic overload protection, excellent productcubicity and a high reduction ratio.

The Pegson XH320 is a mid-sized horizontalimpact crusher designed to offer operators and contractors excellent reductionand high consistency of product shape for performance in quarry and recyclingapplications. With tracked mobility, the plant is capable of working in themost demanding environments and features a rapid set-up time, fuel efficientdirect drive system and excellent output potential of up to 320 tph (352 US tph).

PowerscreenPegson XH500

The Pegson XH500 is the flagship horizontalshaft impactor. It is versatile, efficient and highly productive, offeringexcellent reduction and an output potential of up to 500 tph (550 US tph) in quarrying,recycling and demolition applications. It is ideally suited to contractcrushing due to its high productivity and ease of set-up, operation andmaintenance.

PowerscreenWarrior 800

The Warrior 800 has been specifically designedfor the small end user for whom versatility and transportability are of keyimportance. The machine is a multi-purpose heavy duty incline 2-deck screen,capable of stockpiling, 3 way splitting or scalping before and after crushingunits. Its highly aggressive screen can accept bofor bars, finger screens,woven mesh and punch plate.

User benefits include a rapid set-up time andease of operation aided by hydraulic folding tail and side conveyors, rigidfeed hopper sides and two speed tracks. Simplified slide out tail conveyorfacilities aid media access and screen media changes with an output potentialof up to 280 tph (308 US tph).   

PowerscreenWarrior 2400

Specially designed for large scale operators inthe quarrying and mining sectors, the new Warrior 2400 is capable of handlinglarger feed sizes and output potentials of up to 800 tph (881 US tph). It featuresa heavy duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism,lending it to screening, scalping, 2 or 3 way splitting and stockpilingmaterials like aggregates, topsoil, coal, construction, demolition waste andiron ore.

User benefits include a slideout tail conveyor facility to aid media access and a load sensing collectionconveyor circuit to avoid blockages. The Warrior 2400 is the ultimate solutionfor large-scale end users who require a high performing versatile screener thatremains easy to transport, set-up, operate and maintain. 

PowerscreenAggwash

Launching exclusively at Hillhead is theall new Powerscreen® Aggwash mobile wash plant which brings together for thefirst time rinsing, screening and scrubbing capabilities on a single transportablechassis. Specifically designed for theprocessing of C&D waste or virginmaterial, the Aggwash produces 3 grades of aggregates and 1 grade of sand at upto 60 tph (66 US tph).With its innovative mobile design coupled with versatility in operation, the Aaggwashis the ideal addition to any small to medium sized quarry orcontractors'fleet.
