Playing safe

ENGLAND goalkeeper David James is leading the Quarry Products Association’s 2004 ‘Play Safe…Stay Safe’ campaign, which warns youngsters of the dangers of playing in quarries. Speaking before flying out to Portugal for the European Nations Championship, he said: ‘Saving a life could be the most important save I make this summer.’

Elizabeth Clements from the QPA said the Association was pleased to have a supporter such as David backing this year’s campaign. ‘Hopefully he will inspire youngsters to listen to the safety message and find a safer place to play,’ she said.
