OnGrade unveil new safety systems
Dorset-based safety system supplier expands SiteZone product range for construction plant
ONGRADE Ltd have announced the expansion of their SiteZone range of safety systems for construction machinery. The new products have been specially designed to measure a number of safety-critical parameters to aid the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant.
The extended safety product range includes: a new LOLER-compliant rated capacity indicator for excavators; incline monitoring; and height/slew limitation systems. All can be fitted to a wide range of construction equipment and meet the relevant UK health and safety legislation to provide protection against workplace accidents.
The latest SiteZone systems deliver real-time information to the machine operator with both visual and audible warnings on approach to safe working limits. This allows the operator to take preventative action before an incident occurs. In some cases, where appropriate, motion cut devices can be installed so that if the warning is not heeded, the machine automatically shuts down once the limit has been exceeded.
OnGrade director Gary Escott said: ‘We are constantly looking for additional products to add to our portfolio that will further enhance our ability to offer our clients within the construction industry the very latest safety-related technology.
‘Having worked in the sector for many years, we understand the need for safety solutions that comply with the latest regulations, are cost-effective and offer a superior level of protection to both plant operators and mobile equipment.’
