OilQuick Americas to expand production in the US

OilQuick quick coupler system

OilQuick USA and OilQuick AB form new joint venture company to manufacture quick coupling systems

OILQUICKUSA, an Exodus Global company, and OilQuick AB, the manufacturer of the OilQuick automatic quick coupler system, have announced a joint venture to manufacture automatic coupling systems in the US.

The new company – OilQuick Americas (OQA) – is said to be investing millions of dollars in manufacturing equipment at its facility in Superior, Wisconsin, expanding production capacity to meet the growing market for automatic quick couplers in North America.

‘Having worked with Ake and Henrik Sonerud [director and CEO of OilQuick AB] for six years made it an easy decision to form a JV with them,’ said Kevin Boreen, CEO of Exodus Global.

‘Their approach to business, commitment to quality, and respect they show their employees and customers dovetails perfectly with Exodus Global. The market for automatic quick couplers in North America is gaining momentum daily, and this investment gives OQA the ability to service our customers with domestic manufacturing.’

Henry Sonerud, CEO of QilQuick AB, added: ‘The team at Exodus Global is a perfect match for us, having the very same view of business, quality, and support for our customers. This is also a necessary step for us in our global expansion. By doing this, we release capacity for our growth in Europe and Asia, but even more importantly improve support to our customers in North America by shortening delivery times and increasing flexibility.’

Serving both the North and South American markets, OQA said full production of the OilQuick automatic quick coupler system is expected to begin later this year.
