New wireless tyre pressure monitor

WITH large quarry tyres often costing tens of thousands of pounds, the monitoring of tyre pressures to prevent unnecessary damage and blowouts is an important procedure for most quarry businesses.

However, by investing as little as £400 in a PressurePro device from Advantage PressurePro – leading providers and pioneers of tyre pressure monitoring systems – sole UK suppliers aide automotive Ltd say quarry companies could save thousands of pounds in replacement tyres.

PressurePro continually records tyre pressures and reports its readings, via radio frequency (RF) signals, to an in-cab monitor, allowing users to view current pressures whether the vehicle is parked or moving.

Audible and visual warnings alert drivers to low or high tyre pressures, allowing the situation to be reported to a manager before the tyres can cause health and safety issues or plant incidents.

As well as greater safety, other significant benefits gained by maintaining the correct tyre pressure include increased fuel efficiency, extended tyre life, decreased maintenance, reduced downtime and lower emissions.

Already well proven in Australia and the US, the PressurePro wireless tyre pressure monitoring system is said to be accurate, rugged and easy to install, with no special tools required.
