Speedy introduce ground-breaking new fire extinguisher suitable for use on all classes of fires
SPEEDY have introduced a world first in fire-fighting with their new WaterMist fire extinguisher. The revolutionary product, which is only available from Speedy in the UK, can be used on all classes of fires and contains just water, making it safe and easy to use.
By applying low pressure, fine droplets of water cover the flame and suffocate the fire, and as the mist converts to steam it removes the oxygen and reduces the temperature at the source of the fire, which eliminates the production of flammable gases and extinguishes the flame.
Suitable for all classes of fire, including electrical items up to 100kV (certified up to 35kV), the WaterMist generates a consistent droplet size so that just one litre of water can cover a surface area of 60 square metres.
The multi-purpose portable extinguisher leaves almost no residue and is easy to empty and re-fill on site without mess or specialist filling equipment. It complies with BS 5306 maintenance requirements, comes with a five-year warranty and is 100% environmentally friendly.
