New tracked trommels from Stelex
Stelex Construction Equipment Ltd have expanded their existing range of static and mobile Hercules Trommels with the launch of a range of tracked machines.
The new machines offer the same heavy-duty design that the company is renowned for with the added flexibility that the tracked layout offers. Suitable for being fed by either excavator or loader, Stelex say the tracked machine is highly manoeuvrable around site to help reduce running costs along with the added bonus of no permanent foundations being required.
The machines can handle quarried rock directly at the face or in demolition or similar applications removing dirty or contaminated stone and producing two clean sizes. Three inbuilt conveyors help to expand the efficiency by stockpiling the products separately.
The 50-tonne HT152T features a 1.5m diameter barrel with a screening length of 6m which produces two sizes plus oversize. The 7.5m3 feed hopper along with the on-board conveyors fold to help with simple transport between sites.
The 95-tonne HT182T features a 1.8m diameter barrel with a screening length of 6m which produces two sizes plus oversize. The 15.5m3 feed hopper and barrel are partially stripped for convenient transport between sites.
