New throwing line from Balcan

BALCAN Engineering have developed a new compact, re-packable, life-saving throw line that can be used to reach anyone in trouble in water, ice or mud.

The latest model is based on the company’s original 40m line BELL (Balcan Emergency Life Line) model, and features a 25m long line that is easier to throw. The line on the new model is packed in a bright yellow plastic capsule so that it can be easily seen on the water surface and is markedly distinct from the original orange-coloured version.

The simple principle behind the throw line is to increase the chances of a successful rescue by allowing faster and easier contact with victims. It is suitable for anyone working around water and helps businesses meet their health and safety commitments.
