New service sales manager for ABB
ABB Ltd announce Mark Clegg as new services sales manager for their low voltage products division
ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies, have appointed Mark Clegg as the new services sales manager for their UK low-voltage production division, which produces the company’s extensive range of circuit breakers, switchboards, contactors and other low-voltage equipment.
Mr Clegg joined ABB in 1995 as a field sales engineer and was later appointed as a key account manager and then sales manager for the company’s low-voltage breaker services.
Mr Clegg’s appointment comes at a time of continuing expansion of ABB’s low-voltage service facilities and his new job involves managing several field sales engineers who will advise customers on the right long-term service option for their installed equipment. He will be responsible for two ABB UK service centres in Sunderland and Stone, in Staffordshire. Both sites offer a comprehensive range of service facilities including repair, refurbishment, testing and spares stock.
‘Both of our service workshops are expanding, offering a more comprehensive and capable service organization that can provide quicker turnarounds for customers, as well as offering a better geographical coverage,’ explained Mr Clegg. ‘An improved sales focus will allow us to bring what we do to the attention of more customers in all sectors.’
