New sales appointment at E.P. Barrus
Simon Lee joins Powered Products Division as sales manager for the Loncin brand
E.P. Barrus have expanded their Powered Products Division with the addition of a new member of staff.
Simon Lee has recently joined the company as sales manager for the Loncin brand of engines, generators and pumps, and brings with him vast experience in engineering – from design to service, distribution and sales worldwide.
Mr Lee started his career with Perkins Engines in Peterborough as a technical apprentice and, over a period of 22 years, progressed through the company taking on the role of business development manager with the responsibility for new engine sales and aftermarket parts sales.
He is enthusiastic about joining Barrus and says he was particularly drawn to the company’s heritage spanning nearly 100 years. ‘The outstanding history attached to the Barrus name and the premium brands represented by the company really impressed me, he said. ‘With the unique opportunity to develop the Loncin brand, the decision was made easy for me.’
