New products from HPE

Hallam Polymer Engineering (HPE) have developed a number of new products using their toughest V-Thane materials.

Pro-Wrap heavy-duty protectors have been designed to cover hoses and cables exposed to highly abrasive conditions. They are easily attached, being wound around the hose in a spiral fashion, and stop rubbing and wear against rocks, roadways and sharp edges. They can be fitted to individual hoses or bundles of hoses as required.

HPE often work in conjunction with OEMs in helping to design and develop components. Some such examples include:

• hauler wheels which are used for moving power cables on equipment working at quarry faces, and rope- and pipeline-handling operations
• cable clamps, profiled to the required shape, which are resilient and give a firm hold yet are unaf- fected by harsh working environments
• V-Thane-covered impact bars and scrapers with carbide and ceramic inserts.
