New products from Finlay Plant

FINLAY Plant have increased their product offering under an exclusive deal to market four new-generation additions to the Terex Finlay range.

Terex Finlay’s new line-up includes the 984 horizontal screen, the C1540 and C1540RS tracked mobile cone crushers, the I-130 impact crusher, and the J-1480 jaw crusher – the largest jaw crusher ever manufactured by Terex Finlay, who have created a new facility to build the machine at their Omagh headquarters.

Stafford-based Finlay Plant, part of the Finlay Group of companies, are sole dealers for the new machinery across England and Wales.

Dave Statham, a director of Finlay Plant, said: ‘The new line-up from Terex Finlay complements our existing range of crushers and screeners. All the machinery has benefited from an active programme of research and development, resulting in a number of innovative features to deliver greater control, mobility and increased production.

For example, the C1540 and C1540RS cone crushers feature a patent pending metal-detection and purge system that facilitates an automatic start/stop sequence, making the machines more user-friendly and reducing operator error.

Also, the 984 horizontal screen now includes an electrical control panel display that provides live feedback from various engine parameters, allowing an interlink between the machinery and other units working in tandem.

‘Overall, this means greater choice, versatility and performance for clients and we have already had significant interest from both contractors and fleet operators,’ said Mr Statham.
