New paver from I-R ABG
Ingersoll-Rand Road Development (ABG) have launched the new Titan 7820 road paver-finisher.
Covering paving widths up to 10m, the Titan 7820 is suitable for both medium- and large-scale road projects. The paver is powered by a 170kW Deutz TCD 2013 L06 2V diesel engine that, when working at 1,800 rev/min, has a reduced noise level compared with its predecessors. The rev/min on the heating generator has also been reduced by 20% to 1,100 rev/min.
Other features of the paver include:
- fast and simple removal of the roof for shipping on low-loaders
- extendable driver position for an uninterrupted view along the edge of the road
- rapid access to servicing points
- controlled depositing of aggregate via hydraulic screed tensioning device, screed lock and screed load device
- electric heating system for the screed with three individually controllable circuits
- a new EPM II (electronic paver management) controller.
