New mining equipment for ATH Resources
COAL producers ATH Resources plc are to acquire a £25.3 million package of Caterpillar mining equipment from Finning (UK) Ltd. The deal comprises 83 new machines, with 27 older units being part exchanged as part of the purchase. The new equipment will be used at ATH’s existing Skares Road and Garleffan opencast mines, and at the company’s recently acquired Grievehill and Glenmuckloch sites.
