New Magna M-RIGID tyre for rigid dumptrucks

Company’s latest E4 tread pattern designed for use in the most demanding off-road conditions

MAGNA Tyres Group have introduced the new Magna M-RIGID tyre for rigid dumptrucks operating in surface mines. The radial constructed earthmover tyre with its E4 tread pattern is available in sizes 27.00R49, 33.00R51 and 40.00R57.

Available from May 2019, the Magna M-RIGID has large rigid lug blocks that offer the traction and durability required in the most demanding off-road conditions. It has been designed to deliver optimal tyre performance and increase the fleet operator’s profitability.

According to Magna, the unique tread pattern of the M-RIGID tyre features four key innovations:

• Weight-reducing cut-outs on the tread blocks and lugs, to reduce heat build-up and improve tyre life.
• Circumferential groove in the tread pattern to improve steering control for enhanced heavy-load cornering performance and improved heat dissipation.
• Interlocking shoulder blocks to reduce excessive movement during cornering, minimize heat build-up and enhance operator comfort and tyre life.
• Optimized contact patch to ensure even wear and improve tread life.
