New Komatsu excavators for Gordon McLeod
As part of an ongoing fleet upgrade, Gordon McLeod Plant Hire recently purchased three new Komatsu PC210LCs excavators and three new Komatsu PC138s all fitted with Miller PowerLatch tilt couplers. The company does this every five years in an effort to grow the company and continue their working relationships with a mixture of national and private clients.
The company’s principal has always been about consistency and reliability so it was important for Marubeni Komatsu to meet the criteria for selection in a way that was befitting a forward thinking company such as Gordon McLeod Plant Hire: ‘Our criteria was quite straight forward really; quality, reliability and the highest specification available. It’s now standard on EU Stage IIIB machines; maintenance is included and performed by Komatsu trained technicians with Komatsu genuine parts.

PowerLatch tilt couplers, supplied by Miller, were fitted to each of the new excavators. Miller are able to give operators peace of mind with their ABS mechanical backup system, which ensures safety in the unlikely event of loss of engagement forces. Operators also get 180 degree tilt functionality, providing enhanced performance and improved productivity.
