New insurance package for hired plant
A-PLANT have teamed up with HAE (Hire Association Europe) Insurance Services to offer a new insurance package for customers that covers equipment hired from the company, eg compressors, generators, small tools, accommodation units etc, for only 15% of the hire rate of the plant and equipment.
A-Guard insurance, which is available from HSB Engineering Insurance Ltd, covers loss or damage to A-Plant equipment anywhere in the UK, including during transit, for up to £100,000 for any one incident with no single item limit.
Paul Buckle, head of affinity development at HAE Insurance Services, said: ‘We applaud A-Plant for introducing the A-Guard insurance package. It’s a premium insurance product that is perfect for hirers who wish to insure against their contractual liability for loss of or damage to equipment hired from A-Plant. There are fewer restrictions under the A-Guard policy compared to most standard contractors plant and contract works policies, and low excesses.’
Sat Dhaiwal, chief executive officer of A-Plant, added: ‘We are constantly liaising with our customers to find out how we can best meet their needs and this has uncovered an industry demand for an insurance package for companies who hire equipment from us.’
