New Gipo machines for FBA and Johnson Aggregates
Launched at the recent Hillhead 2007 exhibition, the Gipobac B1385FDRGIGA is an extra-heavy-duty mobile jaw crusher with a demountabletwo-deck screening system. Delivered to Finished Bulk Aggregates Ltd(FBA), who operate mainly within the recycling industry, the GipobacB1385FDR GIGA is suitable for applications ranging from recycling tohard rock.
The Cat-powered machine features a 35-tonne 1385 (1,300mm x 850mm) jaw crusher complete with hydraulic drive and reversing action. Also featured is a feed hopper manufactured from Hardox steel, a two-deck pre-screen and a crusher bypass system.
Various operating configurations provide either an outlet conveyor for sending crushed product to stockpile via the overband magnet if the demountable screen is not attached, or for screening if the unit is attached. With the screen unit in place a further option of returning stone to the crusher is available through the use of the radial conveyor system.
Meanwhile, APR have sold a second Gipo unit – a high-performance Giporec R131FDR GIGA impact crusher – to Johnson Aggregates Ltd, again primarily for use in recycling applications.
Equipped with a Hardox feed hopper, two-deck pre-screen with crusher bypass and a side scalping conveyor, the Cat-powered machine features a Gipo P131 (1,300mm wide) impact crusher with variable-speed drive, hydraulic inlet enlargement and full hydraulic adjustment.
A vibro-feeder mounted beneath the crusher conveys material to stockpile via the overband magnet if the demountable screen is not attached, or for screening if the unit is in place. Oversize products can either be stockpiled within the range of the radial oversize conveyor or sent back to the feed hopper for re-crushing.
