New generators with JCB diesel engine
Powered by JCB water-cooled, diesel engines, the Mosa GE125 JSX and GE125 JMSX generators are now available from Wilkinson Star. The three-phase 50Hz units can produce 110kVa continuous power generation or 40kVa single-phase power generation for use in industrial applications, such as tool and plant rental.
The generators are the first units in the Mosa range to be equipped with the latest JCB diesel engines but each equipment feature different alternators – the Stamford (JSX) and Marelli (JMSX). Both generators have acoustic power of around 71dB(A) at 7m, which meet EEC directives for noise level safety and Euro II standards for exhaust gas emissions.
They have a 230-litre fuel tank, providing 12.5h running time at 75% loading, a four-pole circuit breaker overload protection and EAS capability for connection to an automatic transfer unit for use in the event of mains power loss, as well as a warning light on the control panel in case of water ingression in the fuel.
The generators also include an EP6 engine monitoring system with automatic shutdown should a fault occur.
