New filtering half-masks from Draeger Safety

Focusing on user comfort and ease of use, the new Draeger X-plore 1300 range of filtering half-masks is suitable for use in any workplace environment where dust presents a potential respiratory hazard.

Featuring advanced filtering media and offering protection levels from FFP1 to FFP3, these ergonomically designed masks can incorporate exhalation valves as well as specially designed odour stops (extra carbon-filtering layers used to eliminate unpleasant odours).

For FFP1 protection, the X-plore 1310 features a secure foam nose pad to ensure a good seal and is available in two versions – with or without exhalation valves – to meet the needs of different applications.

For FFP2 protection, there are two versions of the X-plore 1320, again offered with or without exhalation valves. Unlike the 1310, the 1320 benefits from an extra-wide nose seal to ensure a leak-free fit, as well as elasticated head straps for added comfort.

Meanwhile, the X-plore 1330 is designed for FFP3 levels of protection and comes in two different sizes – small/medium and medium/large. Featuring an integral facial seal to provide a secure and comfortable fit, the 1330 comes with an exhalation valve to facilitate easy breathing and elasticated head straps with a built-in safety stop to prevent the straps from becoming disengaged.

The filtering half-masks are simple to don and straightforward to use, and can be worn with other forms of personal protective equipment, such as goggles and helmets, without impairing performance.

For full-face protection, Draeger Safety have recently launched their new X-plore 6000 range of full-face masks designed to provide a good fit and comfort in one size. Suitable for use in any application requiring reliable respiratory protection and clear vision, the masks offer an optimum fit owing to their triple-edge sealing design.

The robustly designed mask, which is available in five different versions and a variety of colours, also benefits from a double-layered sealing frame to offer the highest possible protection, and a stainless steel speech diaphragm for clear communication.

For quick and easy donning/removal, the full-face masks feature a five-point head harness with roller buckles and wide flaps to ensure comfortable handling without hair entanglement.

Meeting the requirements of EN148-1, the masks are fully compatible with Rd40 gas, particulate and combination filters, offering optimum protection against almost all hazardous substances.
