New EC-compliant MOSA generators
Three MOSA water-cooled diesel generators, powered by the latest Perkins 1104C water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engines with 1,500 rev/min low-speed output, are now available from industrial equipment specialists Wilkinson Star.
The GE65 PSX-EAS, GE85 PSX-EAS and GE115 PSX-EAS all meet the latest EC directives (EURO 2) on engine emissions and have been designed for multi-purpose three-phase and single-phase AC power generation, producing 60/66kVA, 80/85kkVA and 100/110kVA respectively.
Typical applications for the EC-compliant generators include temporary and stand-by power, tool and plant rental, accommodation and hospitality. The units come equipped with the latest EP6 full engine-monitoring system, which checks oil pressure and over-speed, and automatically shuts down the generator in the event of a malfunction.
Meanwhile, plug-in accessories include a remote start/stop control unit (a 10m long cable is available as an option), three-phase 65/125A plugs (depending on the model) and a stand-by power EAS-series automatic mains-failure panel connected to the main panel of the generator. The GE65 retains the existing lockable canopy from the old model while the GE85 and GE115 have newly designed compact, lockable canopies.
