New dates announced for the UK Concrete Show 2025

The UK Concrete Show The UK Concrete Show

Next year’s show at NEC Birmingham brought forward by a calendar month to 26–27 February

THE UK Concrete Show enjoyed a successful first outing under the new ownership of The QMJ Group.

With visitor numbers growing by over a third and exhibitor numbers jumping by 25% show-on-show, interest is already building for the 2025 edition. Moreover, following productive discussions with the NEC Birmingham, the organizers have been given the green light to bring the event forward by a calendar month to 26–27 February 2025.

David Fisher, head of event sales and partnerships explained: ‘The change of date will ensure Hall 17 is secured as the preferred location within the venue, offering a more natural fit for the show and adding a flexible outdoor area for larger concrete plant.

‘These dates avoid half-term, the Cheltenham Festival, and provide some daylight between the Concrete Show and Bauma, which though serving a broader index of construction equipment to an international audience, does create a second-quarter congestion headache for some of the internationally facing visitors and exhibitors.’

News of the new dates is already being welcomed by exhibitors, many of whom have already reconfirmed their stands for 2025.

David Pickering, director at Concrete Technology, reflected: ‘We are really pleased to learn of the new dates. We expect more UK customers will attend and more of our overseas partners will join us on the stand.’

David Taylor, sales manager at Command Alkon, commented: ‘The new dates for the UK Concrete Show 2025 work really well for Command Alkon and we forecast the UK concrete industry feeling exactly the same. We look forward to meeting everyone again next February.’

The UK Concrete Show 2025 presents a unique proposition as the largest and only dedicated trade event for concrete professionals in the UK marketplace.

For 2025, the UK concrete industry is continuing to vote with its feet, with some of the biggest names in the trade already confirming their stands early, including Danfords, Kelly Tanks, Betonblock/Concrete Drive Through, Bay-Lynx, Conspare, Concrete Technology, Besser, Haarup, YB Fixings, Command Alkon, Prensoland, Thor Atkinson, Adomast, Giatec, Pneutrol, Impact Test Equipment, Forest Press Hydraulics, Eurobend, Procter Johnson, and many more.

Early bird rates to exhibit run until the end of May 2024. To see a floorplan and costs, contact David Fisher at: [email protected]; or tel: +44(0)115 865 8283.
