New crushing plants from Fintec
Fintec, the Ballygawley-based manufacturer of track-mounted crushing and screening plants, displayed two new models at the show – the Fintec 1440, which is the first Fintec plant equipped with an impact crusher, and the Fintec 1080, which is a newly redesigned model equipped with a cone crusher.
The Fintec 1440 track-mounted impact crushing plant is the most recent addition to the company’s range. The 49.8-tonne machine is suitable for many applications, such as secondary or fine crushing of softer rocks, as well as various demolition and recycling duties.
The plant is equipped with a Sandvik PR301D horizontal-shaft impact (HSI) crusher with a feed opening of 900mm x 1360mm. The crusher incorporates a four-hammer rotor with a diameter of 1,150mm and a width of 1,330mm, and discharges on to a secondary pan feeder. Throughput ranges from 300 tonnes/h to 350 tonnes/h, depending on the material being crushed.
The plant is also equipped with a primary feeder and separate two-deck pre-screen, hydraulically folding wing plates, and a 330kW (440hp) Cat C13 Tier 3-compliant engine. Optional equipment includes a remote diesel and water pump, an overband magnet for recycling and demolition applications, and a dolly chassis for easy transportation of the machine between sites.
Designed for use on hard rock sites, the redesigned Fintec 1080 is a fully independent secondary cone crusher mounted on tracks. Equipped with the proven high-performance Sandvik H3800 cone crusher, which has replaced an older Sandvik cone as part of the redesign, benefits of the new crusher include high capacity and reliability, cubical end products, easy maintenance and low-cost wear parts.
The machine offers a throughput of up to 200 tonnes/h and is designed for direct feed applications, without pre-screening, on clean rock. The Fintec 1080 also incorporates a feed hopper that allows the crusher to be continually choke-fed for maximum reduction ratio and manganese life.
