New bolt-on pump package from BBA Pumps
Diesel-driven bolt-on pump packages said to offer maximum performance at minimal cost
BBA Pumps have introduced a new line of diesel-driven bolt-on pump packages to cater for the extractives market niche where there is no need for a complete skid and/or canopy.
The new units feature a BA or BA-C pump of choice coupled to a diesel engine, including control panel, and are mounted on a high-quality galvanized sub-frame assembly that can be customized with lifting bales, protection bars etc, if required.
With capacities ranging from 100 cubic metres per hour to a maximum of 1,750 cubic metres per hour, and heads up to a maximum of 25 bar, these auto-prime pump unit can be bolted on to any object or structure; end-users only need to connect a fuel tank and the unit is operational.
Using high-efficiency pumps and state-of-the-art diesel engines, the units are said to offer maximum performance at minimal cost, in line with BBA Pumps’ philosophy of ‘lowest cost of ownership’.
In addition, optional pump wet-ends in Duplex stainless steel are available, allowing the pumps to handle advanced dewatering jobs in environments where pH levels are unpredictable and varying – from very acidic to very alkaline.
Duplex stainless steel also allows for use in more abrasive applications, as it will not ‘pit’ like regular stainless steel and is more resistant to corrosion and much stronger.
