New B-Series ADTs from Caterpillar
Caterpillar put the operator first with introduction of three new B-Series articulated dumptrucks
CATERPILLAR have introduced their next generation of articulated trucks with the launch of three new B-Series models.
The new machines include the 735B, which offers a 32.7-tonne payload, the 740B, which offers a 39.5-tonne payload, and the 740B EJ ejector-body version, which carries a 38-tonne payload.
All three models are available with either Tier2/Stage2 equivalent or Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB-certified emissions configurations to meet the needs of customers around the world.
Caterpillar say both configurations feature revised transmission and traction control systems that deliver higher productivity, while the new trucks also focus on reducing driver effort and operator fatigue through improved cab design.
All Caterpillar B-Series ADT models are produced at the company’s state-of-the-art UK production facility in Peterlee, Co. Durham.
A full report on the new B-Series ADT line-up will appear in the August edition of ‘Quarry Management’ magazine.
