The first of the recently launched E-series wheel loaders from Volvo Construction Equipment to be delivered in Great Britain has gone to WBB Minerals and will be put to work at their Pratts Quarry, near Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

The machine in question, an L150E fitted with a 3.8m³ bucket with cutting edge, will be put in charge of loading sand into screen hoppers, blending sand with soil materials and loading out lorries. The loader will also support three other sites in the Heath and Reach area and joins an L150D purchased in 2001 and an L180D purchased earlier this year.
