New appointments at Merlo UK
Telehandler business strengthens customer support with number of key promotions and appointments
MERLO UK have strengthened their support to UK dealers and customers with a number of new promotions and appointments.
Current service manager, Nigel Perrin, who has been with Merlo UK for 15 years, is taking on the new role of training and product development manager. His new position will release him from day-to-day technical problem-solving and will allow him to concentrate on training in all areas, as well as liaising with the Italian factory on product developments.
Taking over the role of service manager is Peter Coward (pictured), who has been Merlo UK’s service supervisor since 2004. He will now lead the direct technical contact team throughout the UK.
Joining that team and new to Merlo UK, but not the products, is technical support engineer Graham Watkins. For nearly four years, Mr Watkins has been ‘fixing’ Merlo telehandlers with Lincolnshire dealers TRP Ltd, based in Sleaford. He will provide in-field support and training to Merlo dealers throughout the East and South of the UK.
