More FRD Furukawa attachments for Malcolm Construction
Plant hire firm adds four more breakers to its already extensive FRD Furukawa line-up
FOR more than 40 years Malcolm Construction have serviced the construction industry, offering a full range of reliable and versatile machinery.
During this time Malcolm Plant have gained the experience and expertise that affords them the ability to offer clients practical and cost-effective solutions to their plant hire needs.
With this reputation to uphold, Malcolm Plant continue to invest in the most up-to-date plant and site equipment, and their most recent purchase is no exception.
The delivery of two new FRD Furukawa F12XP models, two new F22XP units and one VTN VF27 fixed concrete pulverizer, adds to Malcolm Plant’s already extensive collection of various-sized Furukawa breakers.
Malcolm Construction offer FRD breakers from the FX small range to the XP large range with their excavators from 3 to 40 tonnes in weight.
Supplied by ECY Haulmark via their Scottish agents Relentless Plant Services, the latest attachments will operate at Malcolm Construction’s Loanhead Quarry, near Beith, which produces a full range of materials from bulk fill to single sizes.
Commenting on the new machines, Malcolm Construction’s workshop manager, John McManus, said: ‘It’s not very often the Furukawa breakers need attention or spare part replacement so they cause us very few problems and offer maximum reliability.
‘If there is a problem, Andrew Black of Relentless Plant Services offers immediate support in our area, having the spare parts back-up from ECY Haulmark.’
ECY Haulmark say Furukawa breakers offer the lowest lifetime cost of any breaker on the market and come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
