Mogensen equipment in versatile Midlands recycling plant
Mogensen Raw Materials Handling have recently supplied a scalper and feeder that have been incorporated into a ‘one-stop-shop’ recycling facility operated by Mid UK Recycling Ltd at Caythorpe, near Grantham.
The scalper, a type-SPL 1200/3000, agitates the incoming material stream to initiate the separation process and remove items larger than 300mm. The type-TR1 1400/3050 L356 feeder, installed underneath the scalper to collect the fines, ensures an even supply of loosened material for further mechanical separation and processing downstream. Invicta rotary electric vibrators power both machines, the scalper by two type-BL45-50/6 units, and the feeder by two type-BL40-35/6 units.
