Mick George invest in stabilization kit

Wirtgen WR250i S-Pack ground stabilization machine

Company acquires new and advanced Wirtgen 250i ‘S Pack’ ground stabilization machine

FOLLOWING the appointment of two new senior stabilization managers at the end of 2018, Mick George Ltd have further signalled their intent to grow their Stabilization division with the six-figure acquisition of a Wirtgen 250i S-Pack.

Having landed many high-profile stabilization service contracts in recent times, the new Wirtgen 250i has been deployed at the National Trust’s Wimpole Estate, in Cambridgeshire, where Mick George are completing various enabling works.

As well as offering cost-efficiency, technical sophistication, optimized control systems and the ability to confront the most difficult terrains, the Wirtgen 250i S-Pack has the capability to spread binding agent without generating clouds of dust.

By reducing emission levels in this way, the machine allows Mick George to tackle work in environments where strict emission standards exist.

Michael George, managing director of Mick George Ltd, commented: ‘To maintain the exceptionally high standards that we set, we recognize the importance in continuously investing right across the business; in personnel, sites, vehicles and equipment.

‘The construction industry is ever evolving, with stabilization and remediation solutions being more frequently utilized in many developments. The new machine allows us to extend our offering and ensure we’re providing the same high quality that we do with all our earthworks provisions.’
