Metso Outotec reach LCS milestone in India
More than 100 Life Cycle Services contracts signed with aggregates customers in India
METSO Outotec have passed the milestone of 100 Life Cycle Services (LCS) contracts for aggregates customers in India, the first of which were signed in 2004. The number of LCS contracts has grown significantly in recent years across a customer base that covers large and mid-size quarries and aggregates contractors.
The Life Cycle Services concept covers the entire aftermarket portfolio, including sustainable wears and spares, and solutions to improve customers’ business performance. From scheduled inspections to complex process optimization efforts, the LCS offering is designed to help customers to get the most out of their assets while improving safety and reliability.
Through their programmes, Metso Outotec support customers in ensuring safety and environmental performance, improving reliability and production performance to achieve higher production and resource efficiency, and optimizing total cost of ownership. All of their programmes are customizable to meet customers’ specific needs.
‘We are very proud that our customers continuously trust us. The important milestone achieved in India clearly shows that our flexible and customer-oriented concept answers to customers’ requirements to get the best value from their assets and operations over the life cycle,’ said Kamal Pahuja, head of Metso Outotec’s India and Middle East market area.
Metso Outotec have been offering Life Cycle Services contracts for over 10 years and currently have a total of more than 400 long-term service agreements globally, of which around 230 are signed with aggregates customers and more than 170 with mining customers.
‘The development of the offering further is one of the strategic priorities for us. We are focusing on improving customer’s business performance, increased sustainability and digitalization,’ said Annami Toukoniitty, senior vice-president of integrated services solutions at Metso Outotec.
