Metso Minerals extend their Contractor range
Metso Minerals have extended their Contractor range with the launch of a fourth mobile crushing plant equipped with a detachable screen module.
The track-mounted Nordberg LT1110S is a compact, full-process plant that delivers heavy-duty performance in primary and secondary applications. Designed for mobile applications and capable of crushing up to 300 tonnes/h, the LT1110S is built around the Nordberg NP1110M impact crusher and features a 1,040mm x 800mm feed opening.
Like the larger LT1213S, the LT1110S can operate in an open or closed-circuit process. In closed-circuit mode, a return conveyor carries oversize material from the screen back to the crusher. As a result, the unit can produce, as a fully independent mobile process, one exactly calibrated product. An IC500 control system ensures that the entire process runs smoothly.
Standard features on the LT1110S include: a 5m3 feed hopper with hydraulic folding sides, a Nordberg TK9-42-2V vibrating feeder, and a 3m long x 1.1m wide TK11-30S screen. Power is supplied by a 250kW Caterpillar engine operating at 2,100 rev/min.
The screen features two rotation directions, and to make servicing and mesh changes easier, the unit incorporates a hydraulic lowering system.
Optional equipment includes: a larger 8m3 feed hopper, return conveyor, service hoist, magnetic separator, water-spraying system, and radio remote control.
