Matha Granites place trust in Chicago Pneumatic
Chicago Pneumatic equipment helps leading Indian quarrying company to mechanize its operations
FOR more than eight years, international construction equipment manufacturers Chicago Pneumatic have been playing a major role in helping Matha Granites, one of India’s leading producers of manufacturing and plastering sand, expand their quarrying operations in the Kerala district of India.
Established in 1988, Matha Granites have developed and expanded since then, and in recent years the company has mechanized its quarrying operations by introducing breakers, excavators and sand-making machines, as well as opening an additional quarry in the Kuruppampady–Perumbavoor region.
Matha Granites’ successful relationship with Chicago Pneumatic began in 2005 when the company purchased its first CP1150 hydraulic breaker. This proved a great fit for the company and paved the way for the purchase of other Chicago Pneumatic products. In 2007, Matha Granites acquired a CPS325 air compressor, which was followed by a CPS400 air compressor four years later.
In addition, the company has recently purchased a model from the Chicago Pneumatic range of RX medium-size hydraulic breakers. With a novel design featuring only two moving parts, RX breakers ensure easy maintenance, long service life and quiet operation.
Other key features of RX breakers include: hybrid technology that ensures optimum energy transmission from the piston to the working tool; a power booster that harnesses recoil energy to enhance percussive performance; and a breaker box guiding system that minimizes recoil forces so that there is less strain on the carrier, operator and breaker.
Meanwhile, in Australia, Chicago Pneumatic have appointed Redstar Equipment at their authorized national distributor of diesel-powered portable compressors. Based in Rocklea, Queensland, Redstar specialize in importing and distributing compressors, generators and welders for the Australian industrial, mining and construction sectors.
