Manufacturing expansion for Eriez Europe
Company purchases new production facility to support major growth
ERIEZ Magnetics Europe Ltd have announced that they have acquired a 19,000 sq ft building located next door to their current premises in Caerphilly, South Wales. Despite the current economic climate, the company has continued to show growth and an increased order base has resulted in higher manufacturing demand.
The new building will not only increase Eriez’s manufacturing capacity in one location, but also allow for logistical improvement at the current site. Production in the new premises is scheduled to start in April 2012.
Paul Fears, managing director of Eriez Europe, commented: ‘Despite the difficult economic climate, we have been able to continually increase our manufacturing output. To facilitate this growth, it was imperative that we expanded our facility. We have received strong support from our headquarters in the US and this is a clear statement that competitive and successful manufacturing in the UK is a reality.’
