Logico now exclusive UK provider of MixerSURE training
Training aims to prevent rollovers, incidents, and accidents, with focus on safety at all times
LOGICO are now the exclusive UK commercial providers of the award-winning MixerSURE training, which is dedicated to the ready-mixed concrete industry. The accredited scheme offers a regulated vocational qualification through EMPI awards – the only regulated qualification for truckmixer drivers worldwide – and covers on-road site vehicle competence assessments (SVCA) as well as Driver CPC and classroom training for drivers and operational staff.
The training has been accredited by The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for truckmixer drivers and is said to deliver the most up-to-date industry-related information. The courses are tailored to each manufacturer’s operating instructions and align with BS EN 12609:2021 Truck Mixer Safety Requirements, as well as with the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme module for Concrete Operations.
MixerSURE is a recognized training standard for the ready-mixed concrete industry. It provides unique insight into the complexities of driving and operating truckmixers and further provides managers within the supply chain with information on the responsibilities that are proven to prevent truckmixer rollovers, load security offences, site incidents, and additional maintenance issues.
Logico are focused on improving road safety for the ready-mixed concrete industry and have developed the MixerSURE training for drivers into Driver CPC modules. The training aims to prevent rollovers, incidents, and accidents, and emphasize the importance of safety at all times.
With this in mind, Logico offer a complete range of services, including practical training courses, operational management training, ready-mixed concrete supply chain courses, professional transport audits, compliance support, and digitally integrated systems, to keep operators fully compliant with the undertakings of their operator’s licence.
