Liebherr to highlight materials handling expertise at Demolition Austin 2020
Four machines including LH 22 M material handler and L 556 XPower wheel loader to be on display
LIEBHERR will be showcasing no less than four specialist materials-handling machines at this year’s Demolition Austin exhibition from 22-25 February in Austin, Texas, in the US.
Attendees will be able to see two Liebherr crawler excavators – the R 946 and R 936. Both models have been specially designed for recycling/waste-management operations and are fitted with either demolition guarding or casting that protects the machines in heavy-duty industrial applications.
Also on show will be the L 556 XPower wheel loader, which has been developed to deliver quick working cycles, high tipping loads and enhanced machinery uptime; resulting in optimum productivity.
Highlights of the machine include: up to 30% reduction in fuel consumption (when compared to conventional travel drivelines); automatic self-locking differentials; and continuous tractive effort control, thanks to the loader’s XPower driveline system.
The L 556 XPower wheel loader on display will feature Liebherr’s full guarding package option, which protects vital undercarriage areas of the machine (eg tilt cylinder, windshield etc.). The loader is also equipped with solid tyres so it can operate in any demolition environment.
Likewise, the LH 22 M material handler on display is well suited for deployment on demolition sites. Featuring the latest engine and hydraulics technology, the machine combines reliability and strong performance with long-reach working distance (at 36ft), versatility and fuel-efficiency.
