KTEG appoint HCMUK as exclusive dealer in Great Britain
Hitachi Construction Machinery UK to supply KTEG demolition products for British market
Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) have been appointed as exclusive UK dealers for KTEG products. KTEG offer bespoke solutions that are tailored to the needs of customers in the demolition and civil engineering sectors. These range from special application products and digital assistance systems to battery-powered crawler excavators.
David Roberts, CEO of HCMUK, commented: ‘HCMUK has a long and successful track record in supplying and supporting high-quality, specialist machines into the UK demolition sector and so our appointment as the exclusive UK dealer for KTEG products was a natural step for us to take.
‘AR Demolition are well known for their pioneering spirit and were the first to run KTEG machines in the UK, very successfully for several years now, and their decision to renew the KMC600P-7 is a glowing endorsement for the product, and we are delighted to be supplying this highly flexible, productive, and durable machine to them.’
Mr Roberts continued: ‘We believe the move toward decarbonization has started within the construction machinery sector and so the time is right to introduce the ZE85 and other innovative products into the UK market, and the feedback and interest has been incredible so far which only backs up our belief.’
Harald Thum, CEO of KTEG, said: ‘KTEG accomplished the market leadership for high-reach demolition machinery within the last few years in Germany. Furthermore, we have stepped into the European market for zero-emission excavators successfully since the official release at Bauma 2019. This development was possible, because our products offer an additional value for our customers paired with the highest quality.
‘The KMC600P-7 for AR Demolition is a shining beacon that the UK demolition industry can look up to. The ZE85 and Powertree are pioneering products, which will lead towards a sustainable and eco-friendly construction site in the future. These first achievements in cooperation between HCMUK and KTEG are just the start – we are looking forward to writing many more success stories together.’
