Kleemann go blue at Shap
A 72-tonne, 1,200mm x 800mm Mobicat tracked jaw crusher from Kleemann + Reiner has recently been installed at RMC North West's Shap Quarry to crush blue hornfels granite, a material renowned for its hardness. The machine is producing around 250-300 tonnes/h and is fitted with a 1,200mm x 2,250mm heavy-duty, double-deck pre-screen to remove -30mm material prior to crushing.
Kleemann, manufacturers of a full range of static and tracked crushers including cones and impactors, as well as screening, washing and recycling equipment to suit all applications and tonnages, are now established in the UK with their head office located at Northampton.
