KAB Seating 600 Series launched in UK
CAPITAL Seating have announced the arrival in the UK of the new 600 Series range from KAB Seating. Featuring a modular design to allow interchangeability of air or mechanical suspensions, a range of K-Series seat uppers, as well as positioning system modules, Capital Seating say the 600 Series offers a comprehensive range of combinations and solutions for operators of quarry plant and equipment.
Significantly, the 600 Series achieves ISO 7096 seat vibration performance for construction vehicles in categories EM1, EM3, EM4, EM5, EM6 and EM8 without the need to change damping or springs for each category.
Important issues like whole-body vibration are continually being addressed and vehicle operators need to ensure their vehicle and seat combinations meet ISO 7096 performance criteria. The KAB 600 Series provides an approved combination for most vehicle types, making the selection of a suitable product much easier.
In addition, the Air 65 and Mechanical 61 suspensions share common base plates to facilitate assembly and servicing. Both have low natural frequencies and are fine-tuned to significantly reduce the harmful vibrations affecting drivers of construction equipment. These wide suspensions provide improved stability and offer large operator weight ranges (from 50 to 200kg in the case of the Air 65 version,).
Designed in house by KAB Seating’s advanced engineering team, Captial Seating say the 600 Series aims to maximize operator comfort and aesthetic appeal in the cab, while providing robust suspension and seat adjustments suitable for extended product life in the most severe environments.
